I am so blessed and incredibly lucky to have had such a wedding that has received so much attention in blogland! It was first featured on Wedding Chicks back in November. Then it was seen on Engaged & Inspired in December. Now, I am so excited to share with you this feature on this fabulous, New Jersey based website, The Un-Jersey Bride! Even more exciting, this feature went live (yesterday) on my beautiful mother’s birthday Happy Birthday Mom and thank you Feuza and Mary for the beautiful feature!
Don’t forget- you can find just about all of my wedding decor in our etsy shop!
Good morning and happy election day! Who is getting out there to vote today? In other news I am happy to finally be able to share with you photos from our July wedding! Wedding Chicks is featuring it today so stop by and check it out. And if you see any items or details you like, make sure you stop by our etsy shop as most of it is for sale. Enjoy and please let me know what you think!
I crossed another big item off of my never ending to-do list: Send Invitations. In honor of the occasion, I thought I would share my
little project with you this week. A few weeks ago I blogged about my invitation inspiration here and here. Finally, I chose one inspiration and decided to emulate it.
*Invitation inspiration from etsy.
I ordered the actual invitations on wedding paper divas – and got 30% off. I decided to swap out the plain, white envelopes for pink & grey ones, and I ordered grey & white baker’s twine. I designed a monogram on picnic (RIP picnic), and I was ready to go.
I enlisted the help of bridesmaid and BFF, Carly.
I’m happy with the result! They give off the vibe we are hoping to achieve and I was able to make them for a great price.

For the past few weeks I have been blogging about my romantic, garden inspired wedding. We’ve talked inspiration, color palette, and accessories. Such a huge part of my inspiration is our beautiful venue. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, our ceremony will take place in a church. After the ceremony and some photos (we are opting not to do a first look, but more on that in another post) we will continue to The Madison Hotel for cocktails and the reception.
The Madison Hotel
This beautiful hotel offered everything we wanted for our garden party affair. It is old and stately, and has a fantastic reputation, but the best part of this venue is that we don’t have to celebrate in a stuffy ballroom with no windows.
Our reception will take place in the oh-so-gorgeous conservatory.
one, two, three
Less than 3 months until I get to see my dream wedding come to life!
*Tell me about your hunt for the perfect venue!
I haven’t spoke much about my wedding dress, which I bought last summer, from a little New Jersey shop. And while I can’t share too much on the blog, I thought I would share some inspiration I gathered during my search for the perfect gown.
one, two, three, four, five
I promise to share more details after the wedding!
*How/where did you find your wedding gown? Was it what you expected you would get married in?
