East Coast Bride is a website and boutique dedicated to providing brides with both inspiration and handmade wedding decor. We believe that the essence of a wedding is captured in the details and it is these details which bring a wedding to life. Our goal is to inspire brides around the world with real weddings, DIY projects, and handmade items from our shop.
My name is Krista and I love music, being creative, capturing moments, teaching, traveling, family, Disney World, and all things weddings. I was an east coast bride on June 18, 2011. Although my big day is over, I hold on to the memories, the lessons learned, the countless DIY projects and the images that will hopefully help and inspire east coast brides-to-be. I want to provide insight and inspiration to brides by not only sharing my journey to the aisle, but also by sharing beautiful pictures, creative ideas and gorgeous details from weddings all over the east coast. I currently live in NJ with my handsome, talkative, hilarious, never-can-find-anything husband and our two kitties Calvin and Suzie.
I am Keri, a twenty-eight year old, newlywed, still recovering from planning and executing my own garden-inspired east coast wedding on July 14, 2012.
I am a writer, obsessed with all things pretty, light pink, and shabby chic. I am addicted to endorphins and caffeine and am inspired by bookstores and long runs. I live with my husband, a witty boy from the Jersey Shore and our precious shelter dog, Cooper. Most people I meet for the first time think I am quiet, but don’t be fooled.
When I am not here, obsessing over some of the most gorgeous weddings on the east coast, I am most likely running.
