{Keri’s Wedding} : Inspiration

By Keri

Last week I wrote about the important details I have planned for our big day: the location, vendors booked, etc. Today I am sharing one of my favorite parts of wedding planning- the overall vision and vibe we hope to accomplish. I want ¬†our garden wedding to feel fun and whimsical- almost informal, but not really, if that makes sense. Kind of like gourmet mac n’ cheese? Delicious and comfortable. Basically, what I am going for is garden chic. A little preppy, but also classic, pretty and whimsical. The bridesmaids will be wearing short, flowy, dresses and the groomsmen in khakis and blazers. Our color palette is blush pink and dusty mint- a take on the traditionally very preppy, pink and green. I hope to incorporate traditional elements in a new and unexpected way- programs tied with ribbon, interesting escort cards, anniversary dances in lieu of a bouquet toss and hopefully some more exciting surprises. Oh yes, and confeti. Lots of it.¬†Hopefully you are still with me. I’ll let the images speak for themselves.

I love your vision for the wedding–so pretty and timeless! And that mint drawer turned drink tray is just too adorable!:)
